Food Was Really Good. This Place Needs To Top The Chart For Kathiyawadi Food At The Moment. I Was Told By The Person At The Billing Counter That Quality Has Been Improved As They Have Changed The Staff Recently. I Went For Lunch With My Friend On Black Friday 2023. This Was My First Time There. Worth A Try. Dinaben Was The Cook That Day (Mentioning Her Name For Appreciating Her Food & Cooking).
We visited this place for the first time last Saturday for lunch. We were greeted very well and the lady explained us about the thalis that are available so well. Our friends were Jain, so she also gave them Jain options. We ordered 1 Kathiyawadi and one Gujarati thali normal and 1 kathiywadi jain and gujarati Jain thali. We also received unlimited Chaas ( buttermilk), which was yum. There were cute glasses for chaas. I was so happy to see the thali as I was having it after like 7 or 8 years. The food was simply delicious. I had a blast eating there. They have cute setup to take pictures with props.
Loved the food especially the Gujarati thaali and the regular thaali was good enough quantity. They also give unlimited chaas which is nice. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.
We visited the place for the second time today, on the Sunday of a long holiday with a group of 5. As our first experience was really good we were expecting a lot this time. Not sure if it’s due to the rush of the holidays or change in Chefs but everything we had ordered was not at all good. The Khandavi was just boiled and was served with a red chilli powder on the top, Pakoras was very oily and all the curries in the Kathiyawadi Thali was tasteless.
The staff is really good here but I would definitely hesitate to visit this place again.
The food was really good. We went there for lunch and had Kathiyawadi Thali! Every dish was different and well made. I personally loved kadhi khichadi and Bhakri with Baingan sabji. They also served us undhiyo in a small bowl, and it was really good! They have the authentic taste and the atmosphere of the restaurant is also good! The staff was very hospitable as well! Do visit this place for good Indian food! 👍🏻
Good food and we did has fun. felt if they had 1 or 2 more members would be great service. but over all enjoyed. Limited is not enough portion so go for unlimited and not worry $3 extra.
Really bad food for the price. The tomatoe sev was made out of canned tomatoes, the lasun curry was really bad. Chaas quality also not great.
Pura poli was nice!
Wouldn't recommend compromising for this kathywadi compared to the other one
Me and my family went to Kathiyawadi Village over the weekend and were truly blown away. My parents moved from Virginia and wanted to treat them with homely food. My dad is very picky of his food and he liked every single item from here.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm smile and their magnificent chaas. Then we tried many appetizers, individual items, and thali (very soft rotlas). I have to say, they never disappoint. Food was good tasting, fresh, and reminds me of homeland. My entire party enjoyed their meals and ate till they were beyond full.
As for the atmosphere, we loved every aspect of it. Very lively and fed with love. We had asked for many refills on the thalis and were served with a smile every time. Lastly, this is the best thali and Gujarati place in US. I have grown up in US and eat only certain food from outside - I am blessed to have this near my home.
I would recommend Kathiyawadi Village to anyone looking for thali, Kathiyawadi food, and homely food!
